Turn the Negatives into Positives This Weekend

January 9 - 11

The cuddly Moon in Cancer this weekend normally finds us seeking the shelter of familiar experiences and people. On Friday, though, its passage over potent Pluto stirs deep feelings of desire or danger that can make this a less-than-cozy time. Clinging to someone out of fear or desperation is hardly attractive and could lead a person to believe that you can’t live without them. Late night Friday is nicer as Luna picks up sensual Venus and Mars that could lighten the mood with a dash of playfulness.

Strong feelings are whipped up by the Full Moon on Saturday that make it difficult to know where to set limits. Controlling your own emotions or restraining another person from spewing his or hers can be a delicate matter. Still, if this brings up an old issue again, there’s a good chance to come up with a fresh solution. Maturity is needed to recognize that even the stickiest situation offers a way out when you do some original thinking. You might feel like you’re getting bogged down in a conversation you’ve had a million times before, yet even though the subject may be the same, the outcome can be different now.
