Rich Rennicks -- who also calls himself a "book-hoarder" -- describes how de-cluttering his personal library has given him what he calls "a shift in how I think about my reading habits/preferences and a fresh understanding of how I’ve been choosing to use my free time."

Business Change for the Better with Chinese Astrology
The Tea Party Bookshop in Salem, Oregon has been a fixture in the state's capital, but owner JoAnne Kohler has recently become frustrated with a mistaken association: that her New Age store was in any way connected to the relatively new, far more conservative Tea Party political movement. Kohler was searching for a name when a Buddhist monk reminded Kohler of her sign in Chinese Astrology, and advised that she live up to it. Hence Tigress Books will stand in place of the Tea Party Bookshop -- and Kohler assures that little will change ... aside from her shop's new motto, "Wildly independent!"
